The Large Herbivore Working Group will be hosting it's inaugural conference focused on wild & semi-wild herbivores in Britain.
The inaugral Large Herbivore Working Group conference will be a day packed full of talks focused on both wild and semi-wild herbivores.

Following the success of the Wilder Blean programme which was the first reintroduction of European bison into the UK, the herd has continued to grow. Now individuals from this project have been taken to start a second herd in Cumbria. Sharing the lessons from this first project has enabled a second project to start. Hopefully with more to come in the future.
The Lifescape Project, members of the LHWG have carried out lots of research into the complex and intersecting areas of law and regulation governing large herbivores.
